2B Building Pty Ltd is a well-established small building company in Tasmania which has developed a sound reputation for quality. The company specialises in house building, renovations and extensions. It undertakes projects in South East Tasmania, the preferred areas being around the Southern Beaches and Eastern shore. Recent builds have included Dodges Ferry, Connellys Marsh, Carlton Bluff and Midway Point.

The company is active in the Housing Industry Association (HIA). The company adheres to all building industry regulations and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.

Evidencing the quality of completed projects 2B Building has consistently been a finalist in the Annual HIA Awards.

Jesse Bateman, the Manager, is an accredited builder with 20 years of experience in the industry. 2B Building has a team of qualified employees and one apprentice. The company does not take on more projects than Jesse can personally manage and work on. Supporting our employees the company has a network of specialist contractors who also have established reputations for quality workmanship.

At 2B Building we believe three things we emphasise have made us successful:

Careful planning of timelines and delivering projects on budget.
Developing sound relationships with our clients and with the architects who our clients engage.

In relation to this last aspect we believe that it is a sound investment for all to sit down and discuss projects when they are still in the planning stage. We are happy to meet potential clients and their architects and/or designers to discuss plans and to prepare estimates. Often these discussions can lead to new ideas or alterations to plans which can save time and money.

Years of experience assessing sites and looking at plans have given us confidence we can provide an objective opinion of value to clients. Time taken at this stage of any development is time well spent.

2B Building Pty ltd has in recent years undertaken work for architects and designers including Jeff Lee, Bruce Glanville, Phillip Stary, Beachouse Architecture, and JJJ Dwyer design. Due to the relationships we have with our architects and the projects that flow from these relationships we generally do not advertise openly.
