Silvertop Ash pergola and deck. Lots of deck! It took a lot of phone calls to find this beautiful timber as a lot of it in Victoria has now been locked away. A very dense BAL 29 rated timber without the dark colours of Spotted gum. I love the design of this house! Beachouse always on point for lifestyle coastal living. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Built to accommodate! I love building homes that I know will bring joy to my clients, a place memories will be made, a place families will grow. My last couple of builds have been short stay accommodation. knowing these homes will be lived in a different kind of way and for a short time becomes a different challenge throughout the build. Making the space feel fun but luxurious and welcoming is what I think makes it work for a short stay. We have now handed this special visitor accommodation over for its owners to have fun furnishing and decorating the space We look forward to seeing the final outcome ๐Ÿ˜Š.

It's been a busy couple of months on our Carlton job! It's going to be a beautiful home using lots of Silver top ash to comply with the Bal 29 and pop against the cladding. The outdoor living will be a highlight with almost as much under cover deck area as floor space inside to make the most of the stunning views over Carlton River and Fredrick Henry Bay!

Last week we handed over this beautiful home back to its owners, what was once a small one bedroom shack now has a new wing adding two bedrooms an en-suite, Bathroom and laundry. In the original zone a new kitchen was built remaining open plan to the lounge. Itโ€™s been a while since we have worked on an extension/ renovation, and as one would expect there was a bunch of head scratching, decisions on the fly and hidden surprises but we are really happy with the finished product. Thanks to all who helped out along the way! โœŒ๐Ÿผ

Over the last year or so we have been building a second house on our property (lucky kids of ours) itโ€™s been a great fun project for both Cat and I. Iโ€™m really happy with how itโ€™s shaping up. I think the Shou Sugi Ban cladding has a beautiful effect on the building. Iโ€™m really happy with the burnished floors as well. Curved walls in the shower is a first for me but I think it is worth the extra load of hours to construct ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Looking forward to the joinery installation, It should be quite special ๐Ÿ‘Œ
