Carlton Bluff Home

This stunning architecturally designed home features extensive use of Spotted Gum and Tasmanian Oak. Positioned on Carlton Bluff it blends into the native Sheoak woodland of the Bluff without dominating the landscape.

The home has a character of its own. It is stunning. Solid Oak timber ridge beams complement the bluestone fireplace. Spotted Gum is used in both the deck and window frames. Views from the kitchen and lounge areas extend beyond the deck onto which they open. Water views can be enjoyed from day beds below the windows. Both bathrooms have their own unique outlook to Fredrick Henry Bay with double hung windows in the shower bays creating an indoor - outdoor feel.

The exterior of the house is a blend of Spotted Gum shiplap cladding and fibre cement sheeting. The car port makes use of the same features to create a sense of being part of the whole rather than a separate part of the structure.

As the house is isolated from mains power. It is fully off grid with solar power and hot water.
