Our shack renovation developed into a major reconstruction and we are delighted in the outcome.

Jesse was pivotal to the success of the design and build of this project, being hands-on from day one, suggesting improvements and accepting challenges with good humour and his easy going manner. Our good relationship was essential as we were not able to be on site often and Jesse assisted problem solving often using facetime, and progressively forwarding updated photos/videos of the progress or meeting onsite afterhours when we could get there. My daughter and I entered into a contract with 2B Building to construct an architect designed unit in the foothills of Mt. Wellington.

Being our first experience of contracting with a builder for a new construction we were a little nervous particularly in regard to aspects of budget and timeframe.

Jesse and his team commenced the job as soon as all necessary approvals were received. Despite some very challenging weather conditions the work was completed both on time and on budget. Jesse was particularly impressive with his coordination of sub-contractors and suppliers.

More than a builder

I first engaged 2B building around 10 years ago for a relatively small project but was really impressed with their enthusiasm, ability to keep me in the loop and completing the job on budget and time.

When I decided to embark upon a major renovation I had no hesitation in contacting 2B building. Having Jesse as your builder eases stress considerably as not only is he a great builder he also is a fantastic project manager, arranging other tradies to perform various, electrical, plumbing, roofing and plastering to name a few. I feel Jesse's biggest strength aside from being a fantastic builder with a can do attitude is his ability to communicate, be there on time and constantly update you not just on the work he is performing but other trades as well.

Jesse has now been involved in 5 major renovation projects including, extending the lounge room, building a rumpus, gym, extending the balcony and enclosing the carport into a garage. All projects were performed to such a high degree that it is impossible to tell what the original house is and which bits were added. This is the litmus test of what constitutes a good builder as far as I'm concerned.

In 2011, my partner and I embarked on the process of significantly extending our residence.

Building a home can be a scary time for anyone, but in our experience it was choosing a builder that was the hardest of all.

We approached the market and gave several builders the opportunity to provide quotes and advice in relation to the project, and we chose for Jesse to undertake our project.

Jesse did not provide the cheapest quote, but he did provide a reasonable and competitive quote which thoroughly considered our requirements. It was a quote that we considered to be honest, and real, which could actually achieve our goal with a minimised risk of financial overruns.
