Rose Bay Home
As part of a down-sizing plan the owners of this new house created a strata title adjoining their existing home.
The architect designed house captures and frames stunning views of the Tasman Bridge and Derwent River from all living areas. It enjoys all day sun and the design protects to privacy of the owners within a smallish footprint.
On a sloping block the house sits on a concrete slab at ground level creating garage and storage areas with a suspended slab above for the living areas, deck and bedrooms. The project utilised Hebel panel and render to maximise sound insulation due to proximity to the highway.
