Who we are
2B Building Pty Ltd is a well-established small building company in Tasmania which has developed a sound reputation for quality. The company specialises in house building, renovations and extensions. It undertakes projects in South East Tasmania, the preferred areas being around the Southern Beaches and Eastern shore. Recent builds have included Dodges Ferry, Connellys Marsh, Carlton Bluff and Midway Point.
The company is active in the Housing Industry Association (HIA). The company adheres to all building industry regulations and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
Evidencing the quality of completed projects 2B Building has consistently been a finalist in the Annual HIA Awards.
Jesse Bateman the Manager is an accredited builder with 20 years of experience in the industry. 2B Building has a team of qualified employees and one apprentice. The company does not take on more projects than Jesse can personally manage and work on. Supporting our employees the company has a network of specialist contractors who also have established reputations for quality workmanship.

A little snippet of how the last couple of weeks have been.. we have watched a lot of cold fronts march across that bay lately, luckily they have been hitting hard and fast and then backing off after 20 mins allowing us to climb back up on that roof.. 🔨 (Volume up)

Cheers to the boys Kalan and Wizza for dealing with the wind and rain squalls the last couple of days to get the last of the trusses up. We have copped a flogging on the headland from these winds but managed to keep it all moving. (Still a few more days of wind ahead) I’m really happy with how this house is shaping up! 🙌

Big day on the tools ⚒️ today but got there in the end.. it’s been an absolute pleasure working on this job, not only for the project itself but working in with the wonderful owners to achieve this Beautiful home. A big thanks to all of our trades and @loci_landscapes for bringing it all together. 🤩

Over the road from our current build we have been getting the base work done on this amazing property. Once again one of the original shacks on Tiger Head that has made so many memories had reached its expiry date. We now have the big job of filling its boots. I have no doubt we will do it justice and the long time owners will make many more memories to come! (In a bit more comfort 😊)

We’re starting to shape up at our Tiger Head house! I am loving the Nailstrip cladding with the spread of glass and Modwood decking. It’s all about looking good with minimal maintenance 👌🏽
